The most difficult barrier an entrepreneur faces when starting business is the tax and VAT difficulties. There is no reason to fear this.

Center for VirksomhedsUdvikling, who, annually, are in contact with hundreds of entrepreneurs, experiences that entrepreneurs tend to wall themselves so much in that it is hard to look out on the other side.

The wall consists of insecurity towards VAT, receipts, tax settlement, book keeping, cash book, output tax, giro transfer forms, labour market supplementary pension (atp), debit, credit, chart of accounts, debtors and more similar terms.

Kick Down the Wall
Starting business you should not let your vision be blurred by such issues which merely has to do with the administrative aspects of running a business.
Administration of a small business is a relatively low cost if you choose a consultancy firm to take care of it - alternatively, you can work out your own administration system.

So kick down that wall and let the rubble lie where you can keep an overview. Later on you can use the bricks to lay a secure foundation for your company in stead of an insuperable wall.

The Essentials
The challenges an entrepreneur must focus on are:

  • What is it exactly that I sell?
  • Who are my customers?
  • How many are there?
  • How do I approach them?
  • How much do they want to buy from me?
If you have got a qualified estimation indicating that a great many people want to buy your service or product at a favourable price then 90% of the difficulties running a business is over and done with.
