At the local city hall there is a file containing drawings and information on miscellaneous approvals and easements of all buildings erected in the municipality.
If you plan to erect, buy or lease a building for your business operations you must in all cases consult the municipality´s technical and legal administration. This way you make sure that the building is approved for your specific business purpose.
Especially, this is important if you plan to open a restaurant or grill bar in leased or owned premises as not many buildings are approved for this purpose.
Easements
Many buildings and premises are affected by easements restricting the use of the property. Some buildings are exclusively approved for housing, others for service companies, while others again, are not approved for catering trade. Information on easements attached to properties is available at the municipality´s technical administration.
New building and rebuilding
If you are planning large rebuilding or new building such activities are subject to approval by the municipality´s technical and legal administration.
Non-approved rebuilding or business operation in a building not approved for this kind of activity will be ordered demolished or relocated.
