Step by step ved start

If first you have figured out exactly what it is you are selling, the next important step is to find out who your customers are and how to approach them.
If you have decided on selling kids wear, software solutions or graphic design your next consideration should be: "who are my customers and how do I approach them?".
Who are my customers? Before you are able to carry out any sort of sales or marketing action you need to identify the market you want to penetrate. Therefore, you can make a market analysis for your service or product.
Some questions you might want an answer to about potential customers could be: - How many customers are there?
- Are they men, women, or seniors?
- Should I target small or large firms?
- What is the total number in Denmark or in Europe?
- What is their spare-time occupation?
- What is the ideal price range?
Realistic Customer Base It may be relatively easy to identify the number of potential customers, but it is far more difficult to make a qualified estimation of how many of those who would actually buy the product you offer.
Interview 10 potential customers To come up with a qualified estimation you could interview 10 potential customers and ask if they prefer your product to the one they have been using so far. You can also make an estimate of your competitors’ strong points compared to your own or debate your product’s market potential with market insiders. You might also be so fortunate that you already have five customers or that you have made an agreement with your former employer about buying at least 500 hours of work from you the first two years.
Selling to Customers You must give consideration to how you want to approach and get to the potential customers you have identified. Experience shows that the hardest about starting your own business is finding sufficiently big customer base that demands what you sell. Therefore, it would be a good investment to work hard on your sales and marketing strategy.
Hopefully, you have been very thorough describing the market you want to penetrate and the customers you want to sell your products to. If so, the task of working out interesting and relevant sales and marketing material becomes much easier.
List 10 names If you know precisely which persons or companies to approach, you can readily choose tools for your marketing campaign. Will you be able to list by name 10 companies/persons you wish to contact for potential sales?
